What we might talk about.

How I work

I see therapy as a journey between two people. At times the journey can feel daunting, overwhelming, and challenging, and I am here to help make the burden a little easier to bear. I work to truly understand and join with you to uncover difficulties or patterns you may not see just yet. We will work together to enhance your ability to sift through the challenges and get to the root of the issues you are facing. I will help you gain more insight and clarity for yourself and your relationships, and create a deeper understanding of the ways your history is intertwined with your present.

We all feel stuck at different times in our lives, and I want to help you get unstuck. I will empower you to recognize the changes you can make to improve your life, and how to make sense of the things that you cannot control. I also bring myself into the room using humor, creativity, and genuine enthusiasm to foster a space of honesty and connection.

My goal is to help you live a more authentic, peaceful, fulfilling life. I look forward to embarking on this journey with you.

I draw from multiple traditions, but my orientation is primarily psychodynamic and relational. In practice that means we'll pay attention to patterns: how the past lives in the present, and how our relationship in the room becomes a place to understand everything else.
